Trane Commercial implemented a two-phase turnkey solution that included high-efficiency CenTraVac chillers, an IntelliPak unit, and a CALMAC ice thermal storage system. This project saves TIAA-CREF approximately $765,000 in annual operating expenses, generates a 25 percent internal rate of return, and avoids 6.1 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions. Trane's work ensured improved comfort, reliability, and efficiency for the customer.
