St. Clare Hospital - Customer Case Study

St. Clare Hospital, a 100-bed acute care hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin, needed added cooling capacity and redundancy for a new addition but did not have funding for a full service warranty. Trane Commercial provided support for the hospital’s new 500-ton Trane CVHF high-efficiency chiller through its In-Warranty Support Agreement.

Trane Commercial’s solution included four quarterly inspections in the first year, one oil analysis, a Kestrel View report review, and an extended labor and parts warranty. The program helped St. Clare Hospital monitor operating conditions, make minor system adjustments, and establish performance baselines, with hospital leadership citing excellent response time and a goal of maximizing chiller longevity and reliability.
