Pacific Palms Resort, a hospitality venue, faced challenges with its thirty-five-year-old, inefficient HVAC equipment which led to high energy costs and guest comfort issues. The resort partnered with Trane Commercial to conduct an assessment and implement upgrades to reduce operational expenses and meet sustainability goals.

Trane Commercial provided a comprehensive solution that included installing new energy-efficient chillers, boilers, a thermal energy storage system, and a Tracer SC building automation system. This resulted in significant savings, with first-year energy savings of nearly $342,900 and operational savings of nearly $203,000, in addition to securing approximately $500,000 in utility rebates for the resort.
