Morguard, a major real estate company, sought to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs at its Coquitlam Centre shopping mall. Trane Commercial proposed and implemented a creative heat recovery system using a Series R heat reclaim chiller. This solution reuses waste heat to warm the building, drastically cutting energy consumption. The project resulted in a 55% reduction in natural gas use and is on track for a four and a half year payback, exceeding the customer's efficiency goals.
