Le Meridien, a five-star deluxe hotel in Bangalore, needed to replace aging HVAC equipment that had been in service since 1985. The hotel wanted to improve energy efficiency, increase reliability, and reduce service costs, and turned to Trane Commercial for a solution that could support guest comfort and 24/7 operations.

Trane Commercial installed Series R helical rotary water-cooled chillers and a Tracer Summit building management system, along with an annual maintenance contract and eddy current tube analysis. The upgrade delivered nearly 30% energy savings from the chillers and an additional 6% to 8% savings from the control system, while improving comfort, reliability, and lowering downtime and carbon emissions.
