Hill College, a Texas community college with campuses in Cleburne, wanted to expand its career-focused offerings by adding a new HVAC program. After learning about Trane Commercial’s work with NC3, the college sought a state-of-the-art residential and commercial HVAC equipment and controls training lab to help students gain industry-recognized skills and improve their marketability in a high-demand field.

Trane Commercial worked with Hill College and NC3 to deliver a turnkey HVAC training lab, curriculum support, instructor and board guidance, and a complete equipment-and-controls setup for hands-on learning. Trane also helped fund the project through an energy savings performance contract. The result was a new training lab that supports certification readiness, strengthens workforce development, helps revitalize a historic downtown building, and has driven steady increases in enrollment and revenue for Hill College.
