Coffee County Schools in Manchester, Tennessee, faced aging HVAC systems, limited building controls, high energy and maintenance costs, and ongoing comfort issues across its nine schools. To support its goal of improving the learning environment while staying within budget, the district turned to Trane Commercial and a guaranteed savings performance contracting program.

Trane Commercial implemented a Trane Building Advantage solution that included HVAC and boiler upgrades, LED lighting retrofits, weatherization, new plumbing fixtures, and a Trane Tracer SC building automation system. The project improved indoor air quality, comfort, and energy management, produced nearly $150,000 in utility savings during construction, and was on track to deliver first-year guaranteed savings of $336,104.
