Boles Independent School District - Customer Case Study

Boles Independent School District, a financially strapped Texas school district experiencing rapid enrollment growth, needed a new science building for its high school but did not have enough funding to complete the project after receiving a TEA grant. Trane Commercial was brought in to help evaluate the district’s original plans and provide an alternative approach that could fit within budget, including use of a TCPN cooperative purchasing agreement.

Trane Commercial acted as the general contractor and delivered a fully functioning science lab building designed for energy efficiency, with two 7.5-ton rooftop units and controls to support comfort and lower operating costs. The project reduced first cost and total cost of ownership, left funds available for interior furnishings and 25 laptops, and also helped Boles plan ahead for future gym upgrades by installing a transformer sized for later needs.
