ARRIS Group, a global communications technology company, needed to maintain 99% or better uptime for its mission-critical data center in Suwanee, Georgia. To support this requirement, vendor Trane Commercial provided a system-integrated service solution centered on Trane Central Monitoring and a Performance Based Service Agreement for the facility’s HVAC systems, including rooftop units, an air-cooled chiller, and Trane Tracer controls.

Trane Commercial implemented 24/7/365 monitoring, alarm routing, remote diagnostics, and custom performance metrics to quickly address HVAC faults and minimize downtime. The results were strong: ARRIS achieved 99% uptime, reduced operational downtime by 60%, cut service truck rolls by 50%, and improved response and resolution times to an average of seven minutes and 39 minutes, respectively.
