AIRCOR SERVICES, a commercial and industrial HVAC solutions provider based in Lexington, South Carolina, was called to replace the condensing coils on a 20-year-old rooftop HVAC unit at a mall. The challenge was to find a solution that would meet the comfort needs of a new retail tenant while also supporting the mall’s business objectives. Trane Commercial was involved through its Trane® SureFit™ Coils offering.

Trane Commercial recommended a custom Trane® SureFit™ Coil replacement, took field measurements, produced a same-day quote, and then built and delivered the coil for installation. The coil fit well with only two minor piping modifications, and the project was completed successfully. As a result, AIRCOR SERVICES reported that the coil is performing fine and is considering Trane coils for two additional jobs.
