How the Organization Switched from In-Person Training to Online

The Lubbock Association of REALTORS® is a professional organization of more than 1,250 members serving the Lubbock, Texas area. They required all new members to complete an MLS training course that had been delivered in person, which forced attendees to rearrange schedules or travel long distances, made it hard to track missed deadlines, and left no reliable way to verify learning.

In 2016 the association moved the MLS training to the Mindflash LMS, letting members complete the course on their own schedule via computer or mobile device and receive automated deadline reminders. The MLS administrator now builds multi-module courses with narration and interactive quizzes in a few hours, members complete training on time, the platform is easy to use with few support questions, and the association has added optional courses to increase member value.
