Burlington Fire Department attains 100% training compliance

Burlington Fire Department, a municipal fire service in Burlington, Ontario, needed a better way to manage mandatory training for its roughly 300 staff and prove 100% compliance across all stations. Its in-house system could not deliver consistent training content or track completion and scoring, so the department turned to Trakstar Learn’s Mindflash eLearning solution.

Using Trakstar Learn, Burlington Fire Department built courses from PowerPoint, PDFs, and videos, added tests, set completion windows, and used reporting and certificates to document results. The impact was significant: the department created nearly 40 courses in one year, enrolled 160 trainees in its latest course, and achieved 100% training compliance for the first time in its history.
