Bristlecone Holdings is a high‑growth consumer and B2B finance technology company that powers five retail brands (pets, bridal, furniture, hearing aids and auto) and offers cloud‑based financing through 3,000 participating retailers serving over 55,000 customers. The company struggled to onboard and train retailers quickly and consistently—retailers were often unavailable during business hours, onboarding was poor, and customers didn’t get a clear understanding of the financing services.
Bristlecone adopted the Mindflash LMS: Kristin Stith created six online courses for the OneRoad Lending (auto) channel, trained three sales reps to administer them, and made completion mandatory before retailers began business. Mindflash became the brand’s system of record and provides compliance tracking. In the first six months 772 of 850 retailers completed training, the program saved the equivalent of one full‑time trainer, and rollout to the other five brands is underway.
