Vertas, a major integrated facilities management company, sought to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of its diverse fleet of over 300 vehicles while working toward ambitious carbon reduction goals. To address this challenge, they partnered with vendor Trakm8 and implemented its telematics technology, powered by the Connect 330 plug-in devices.

The solution provided by Trakm8 delivered substantial results. It enabled Vertas to optimize fuel usage and driver behavior, leading to an annual reduction of 56.35 tonnes of CO2 emissions from their electric vehicle pool fleet alone. Furthermore, Trakm8's technology facilitated significant financial savings, with an estimated total reduction in costs of £318,179 across fuel, maintenance, and insurance.
