Case Study: Upper Merion Township achieves granular mall-level asset management and live vehicle tracking with TRAISR

A TRAISR Case Study

Preview of the Upper Merion Township Case Study

Upper Merion wanted centralized management of data across departments, standardization of processes, and a common interface for everyone to work with together

Upper Merion Township engaged TRAISR to centralize asset and permit management across departments while addressing unique local challenges—most notably the King of Prussia Mall’s large retail footprint, vehicle location tracking, accelerated schedules for winter response, rental inspections in the field, and routine snow and leaf removal. The Township implemented TRAISR modules including Asset Central, Land Central, Work Central, Permit Central, Fleet Central and GPS Central to meet these needs.

TRAISR delivered a web-based GIS and asset management platform with parcel-level permit tracking, live vehicle tracking, fleet parts inventory and a phased departmental rollout. The TRAISR team had vehicles and tracking live in time for the first snowfall, allowing the Township to track cleanup before formal training and later add street sweeping and leaf-collection projects; parcel/shop-level permit tracking also enabled granular monitoring of businesses and renovations—improving response time, data standardization and operational visibility.
