Springfield Township - Customer Case Study

Springfield Township, PA engaged TRAISR to digitize multiple operations across the municipality. The township faced challenges implementing technology across departments, transitioning from pen-and-paper workflows to digital processes, managing fleet across divisions, and tracking code enforcement and Park & Recreation issues—plus a need to monitor impervious surface additions from permitted construction. TRAISR modules in use include Asset Centrl, Permit Centrl, Inspection Centrl, Fleet Centrl, and Work Centrl.

TRAISR implemented a web-based GIS and integrated solution—asset management, parcel/land-use mapping, permitting and code enforcement, mobile inspections, field data collection, and vehicle maintenance tracking—centralizing records and enabling cross-departmental data sharing. As a result, Permit Centrl and Work Centrl are being rolled out across Parks and Recreation and Public Works, giving Springfield Township the ability to track impervious surface changes tied to permits, streamline workflows, improve issue tracking, and better manage fleet maintenance.
