Northampton needed an “all-in-one” tool for the whole township, improving communication between departments and with external vendors and service providers

Northampton Township, PA engaged TRAISR to replace costly desktop GIS and disparate asset tracking methods with a flexible, web-based solution. Using TRAISR’s Asset Centrl (along with Work Centrl and Citizen Centrl), the Township needed a system that would serve multiple departments, simplify specialized field workflows for Police and Public Works, and let staff grow the asset inventory using mobile devices.

TRAISR delivered a web-based GIS and mobile applications that let staff map new assets in the field, track citizen requests for faster coordination with the refuse hauler, and provide simplified online service request submission for all Township staff. The all‑in‑one TRAISR solution improved communication between departments and external vendors, expanded the Township’s asset inventory capability, and was rapidly deployable—“Endless benefits,” said Assistant Township Manager Bill Wert.
