Lower Merion Township worked with TRAISR to replace aging legacy systems with a customizable GIS software platform that could support multiple departments and consolidate workflows and resources. The township needed a way to manage a variety of processes across a large organization, including alerts for special property conditions, fleet parts inventory tracking, and stronger reporting.
TRAISR implemented a phased, web-based GIS solution with modules for asset management, permitting, work management, GPS tracking, inspections, fleet, and land use. The result was real-time field operations, live vehicle tracking, improved snow removal and trash collection management, streamlined communications, and new reporting insights for township leadership, with efficiencies gained by eliminating double-handling of information.
