Sports Betting Company, a global betting brand, was running high-investment PPC campaigns with free bet bonuses and boosted odds but wasn’t seeing the expected conversion rate among depositing customers. TrafficGuard was brought in to audit the traffic and identify how invalid clicks and bonus abuse were affecting campaign performance.

TrafficGuard implemented its PPC Protection platform, using predicted smart ranges, a dedicated site tag, and machine learning to detect and block invalid traffic in real time. The audit found that 36.7% of clicks were invalid, wasting nearly £20,000 and accounting for 47.2% of spend; 81% of invalid clicks were bot-driven. By removing invalid traffic, TrafficGuard projected a 37.45% lift in conversion rate, helping the customer justify more budget and improve ROI with cleaner data.
