A Tradesmen International Case Study
Large International Contractor Company, a major international contractor managing one of the largest LNG construction projects in the U.S., faced a severe skilled labor shortage on its multi-acre Gulf Coast site. To support its long-term project needs, the company turned to Tradesmen International for ongoing skilled craft labor, including hard-to-find combo welders and other specialized trades.
Tradesmen International responded with a three-tier recruiting strategy that combined on-site staffing, regional recruiting across Gulf Coast offices, and national sourcing through its recruiting center and database. Within four months, Tradesmen International fulfilled 90% of the client’s 50-welder order, supplied workers with the required certifications and experience, and ultimately supported up to 280 trades on site, contributing more than 475,000 man-hours as of September 2015.
