A Tradesmen International Case Study

Preview of the Austal USA Case Study

Austal USA - Customer Case Study

Austal USA, a leading U.S. naval vessel shipbuilder in Mobile, Alabama, needed flexible skilled labor support to build Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) under tight deadlines and strict credential requirements. Tradesmen International’s Marine Division provided the manpower needed across all phases of shipbuilding for vessels such as the USS Jackson, USS Mobile, and USS Montgomery.

Tradesmen International supplied 35 to 125 credentialed tradespeople in waves, including pipe welders, pipefitters, electricians, insulators, machinists, painters, and blasters, to support new construction and help Austal USA optimize workforce productivity. The engagement covered approximately 76,875 contract man-hours over about 20 months, with an ongoing contract in place and on-site electricians still supporting the shipyard.
