Why Fdj, France’s Largest Lottery Games Company Selected Tradeshift for Global E-invoicing

Française des Jeux (FDJ), France’s largest lottery games company, faced a sudden strain on its traditional purchase-to-pay processes when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Accounting Manager Dominique Defache explains the crisis highlighted the urgent need to digitalize inter-company exchanges and modernize the accounts payable function to ensure business continuity.

FDJ implemented the Tradeshift e-invoicing platform in February 2019 to streamline supplier interactions and digitize AP workflows. Since then they’ve enrolled more than 500 suppliers and now process roughly two thirds of purchase orders and invoices fully electronically, delivering a faster, more resilient purchase-to-pay operation.
