A Tradeshift Case Study

Preview of the Global Supply Chain Case Study

Unlocking the potential of the procure-to-pay network

A global consumer goods company with over 300 brands in 100 countries faced a heavy accounts-payable support burden and needed a simple way for thousands of suppliers to access invoice status. What began as an AP automation project quickly revealed a broader “network” challenge: to unlock greater procurement, supplier and working-capital value the company needed to connect suppliers, banks and partners on a single digital platform.

The company deployed Tradeshift Pay across more than 100 organizations and 360 legal entities in 33 countries, rapidly onboarding suppliers (9,500 in month one, 13,500 by month three, and nearly 20,000 today, covering ~62% of in-scope invoice volume). Results include a sharp drop in invoice-matching discrepancies and resolution costs, inbound support queries reduced to virtually zero, streamlined shared-service centers, and new working-capital and supply-chain financing initiatives — with further expansion into direct-materials apps, procurement, and sustainability tooling underway.
