B&H Photo Video, the largest non-chain U.S. retailer of photo, video and audio equipment, faced ongoing invoice-to-purchase-order matching errors and a fragmented order-to-pay workflow that left accounts payable teams struggling with multiple document versions. To tighten and automate their AP processes and improve supplier communication, B&H engaged TradeBeyond and its cloud-based Total Sourcing Management Platform.

TradeBeyond implemented its Total Sourcing Management Platform to automatically relate ASNs to shipments, purchase orders and invoices, handle discounts-from-invoice and SSCC tracking, and accept Excel-as-EDI for easier document exchange. The solution was rolled out in just a few months to several hundred vendors, delivering automated, error-free PO/ASN/invoice matching, dramatic time savings in invoice reconciliation, improved supplier visibility and faster vendor payments. TradeBeyond’s platform also made it simple for B&H to scale and onboard new suppliers.
