XXXX, owner of the XXXX GOLD brand, needed to win back lapsed drinkers, reach shoppers before they entered store channels, shift brand perception and lift category sales to retain its position as Australia’s number one beer. TractionNext was engaged to deliver digital customer acquisition and promotion management solutions, using the Traction Platform along with campaign mechanics, promotion management and email amplification services to design an integrated summer promotion.
TractionNext built and managed an online promotions portal, a triggered email and dynamic-banner workflow, and ran the XXXX GOLD & Barbeques Galore promotion (a $2.5M prize pool) to drive pre-store influence and consumer engagement. The campaign helped XXXX GOLD maintain market leadership and produced a 5% uplift in category sales over the busy summer period versus the prior year (market category growth was 2.5%), increased foot traffic to retail partners, and delivered an average cash-out value of around $180 — outcomes attributed to TractionNext’s platform and campaign execution.
