Studio 4D, a digital visualization firm, needed a cloud-based solution to provide interactive, low-latency 3D walkthroughs to large audiences of over 500 people. Their challenge was to maximize the pixel-streaming capabilities of Unreal Engine for these large-scale demos. They reached out to AWS, who recommended the vendor TrackIt to help implement a video streaming solution.

TrackIt architected and implemented a solution utilizing Amazon IVS. They developed two distinct front-end options: one integrating Zoom for ease of use and a more complex, custom solution using a Docker container on AWS Fargate to convert WebRTC streams from Unreal Engine into a high-definition RTMP feed for Amazon IVS. This new online streaming platform implemented by TrackIt now enables the company to share high-quality, real-time 3D experiences with exponentially larger audiences.
