Jukin Media, an online entertainment company representing over 50,000 video creators, faced significant challenges in managing its vast library of user-generated content. Their workflow lacked automated content identification, relying on an ineffective keyword search that led to missed infringements, duplicate purchases, and lost licensing opportunities. They partnered with vendor TrackIt to implement the AWS Media2Cloud solution to address these issues.
TrackIt successfully implemented the Media2Cloud framework, which uses AI and machine learning to automatically generate rich metadata for video content. A key part of the solution involved translating the entire AWS CloudFormation stack into Terraform modules, which required refactoring custom resources and streamlining the code. The result was a fully-functional, automated workflow that allows Jukin Media to accurately identify content, avoid duplicates, and better service its licensing clients.
