Healthline Media, a major health information website portfolio holder, faced the challenge of migrating its MedicalNewsToday.com infrastructure from Linode to AWS and replacing its expensive KeyCDN content delivery network. The company needed to ensure this transition happened seamlessly without negatively impacting site performance or its critical Google search rankings, all while overcoming the limitations of a legacy, bare-metal caching system that severely hindered scalability.

Working with vendor TrackIt, the solution involved containerizing the software and implementing a new caching architecture using Amazon ElastiCache for Redis, which centralized the data and eliminated synchronization issues. The team also migrated the CDN to Amazon CloudFront. The results for Healthline were a successfully consolidated AWS infrastructure with enhanced scalability, full automation via Terraform, and significant cost savings from both the containerization and the new CDN. TrackIt's expertise was credited as a game-changer for the project's success.
