Native Sugarcane Farmers digitize 20,000 hectares with TraceX

Native Sugarcane Farmers, supported by VNV Advisory and its partner SJSM, faced significant challenges in transitioning to sustainable sugarcane farming across 20,000 hectares in India. Their operations were hindered by fragmented data, a lack of farm-level visibility, and immense difficulty in monitoring the adoption of regenerative practices at scale. To address this, they partnered with TraceX to deploy its farm digitization and DMRV platform.

The TraceX solution provided digital farmer profiling, farm mapping, and real-time tracking of crop management and sustainable agriculture activities. This enabled scalable adoption of new practices, giving implementers real-time insights into each farm. As a result, TraceX helped VNV achieve credible sustainability reporting with verified data, optimize input usage, and improve overall soil health and climate resilience for the farmers.
