Major Agribusiness Exporter achieves 100% paddy traceability with TraceX

A major agribusiness exporter in Haryana, India, faced significant challenges in its paddy procurement process. Manual record-keeping led to errors, a lack of inventory visibility, and an inability to trace paddy back to its source farm. To digitize its Sustainable Rice Project and track 3000MT of Basmati paddy, the company partnered with TraceX and its traceability platform.

TraceX implemented a digital solution that included farmer profiling and a mobile app for procurement managers to input data at the source. Each bag was tagged with a QR code containing all procurement metadata. This enabled real-time inventory management at warehouses and integrated tracking during transport to the mill. As a result, TraceX helped the company achieve 100% traceability from farm to mill, an 85% reduction in manual errors, and full real-time inventory visibility across all procurement sites.
