Mabif onboards 210 farmers and maps 350 hectares with TraceX

Mabif, an agribusiness incubation forum promoting agriculture in southern India, faced challenges in the export-oriented red banana supply chain. Smallholder farmers struggled with manual record-keeping, proving sustainable practices, and meeting stringent quality and regulatory standards. To address this, Mabif partnered with TraceX to pilot its blockchain traceability solution.

TraceX implemented a multilingual mobile app to onboard farmers and map their farms. The solution digitized crop details and package of practices, generated harvest insights, and created QR-coded batches for export boxes. This provided full traceability from production to consumption. As a result, TraceX's solution helped Mabif assure global consumers of food safety and transparency while digitizing the supply chain and bringing trust to all stakeholders.
