IFHD digitizes maize traceability for 1,000+ farmers with TraceX

IFHD, a foundation executing Public Private Partnership projects, faced the challenge of ensuring aflatoxin-free maize production and achieving end-to-end traceability for over 1000 farmers in a project in Karnataka. They partnered with vendor TraceX and leveraged its FOODSIGN™ platform to digitize the supply chain and track the journey of the produce from the source to the buyer.

The TraceX solution enabled complete digital tracking, eliminating field-level paperwork and providing reliable data on farmers, land holdings, and production. This digitization allowed for better produce estimation, production planning, and crop stage monitoring. As a result, IFHD gained critical visibility and traceability, ensuring the integrity of their maize supply chain for their consortium buyer.
