LEMO stays connected to design firms around the world with TraceParts

LEMO, a global leader in push-pull connectors for electrical, fluid, and fiber optic transmissions, needed a faster way to provide the 3D models increasingly requested by design firms and customers worldwide. The company turned to TraceParts for its 3D model library and e-marketing services to reduce delays caused by routing requests through local subsidiaries and the design office.

TraceParts uploaded 14,000 LEMO product references to its CAD portal in all major CAD formats and integrated a 3D viewer and downloader into LEMO’s own product configurator. The result was greater global visibility, earlier access to designers during the equipment design stage, and better insight into buyers and designers through weekly usage data; LEMO also noted that for every 10 models downloaded, six came from its own website and four from TraceParts or partner sites.
