Legris, a French leader in industrial technical components for fluid circuits, needed a high-quality online CAD parts library for its OEM design offices and end users. In 2001, it turned to TraceParts to help publish its components online and ensure the models met its demanding quality standards.

TraceParts implemented Legris’s CAD parts library with both fixed-dimension and parametric components, supported by CAD vendor partnerships and multiple delivery channels through the TraceParts and Legris websites plus CD-ROM/DVD distribution. The solution grew to 1,500 low-pressure components, with another 700 planned and 3,500 high-pressure parts scheduled, while Legris reported regular sales growth, stronger customer loyalty, and new business from the service.
