A TP-Link Case Study
Kos Aktis Art Hotel, a beachfront hospitality property on Kos Island, Greece, needed to replace its outdated Wi‑Fi after guests repeatedly complained about slow speeds and poor performance. To improve the wireless experience, the hotel turned to TP-Link and its EAP wireless networking solution, implemented by TP-Link partner Datalab.
TP-Link installed a centrally managed network built around 15 access points — 13 EAP110s and 2 EAP220s — along with gigabit switches, a load-balance router, and TP-Link’s EAP Controller software for captive portal, voucher-based access, bandwidth control, and remote management. The result was broad, reliable coverage and high performance throughout the hotel, with improved guest satisfaction and easier administration for staff.
