Case Study: TV Skyline achieves reliable live broadcasting with TP-Link network solutions

A TP-Link Case Study

Preview of the TV Skyline Case Study

TP-Link Offered TV Skyline Reliable Data Transfer and Failure Safety for live broadcasting

TV Skyline, a German broadcasting station, needed a powerful network to support its Ü8 UHD live broadcasting van, which contains 30 workstations producing massive amounts of HD video data. To ensure fast, reliable transfer and proper traffic separation across different working groups, TV Skyline turned to TP-Link and its managed switch portfolio for the network build.

TP-Link implemented a high-performance solution centered on two T3700G-28TQ Layer 3 switches, supported by multiple TL-SG5428, TL-SG3216, TL-SG2542, and TL-SG3424P switches. The design used trunk connections, physical stacking, and VLAN segmentation to deliver redundancy, scalable management, and secure high-bandwidth data flow. As a result, TV Skyline achieved stable, fail-safe live broadcasting with improved efficiency and room for faster expansion, backed by strong technical support from TP-Link during configuration and testing.
