TP-LINK Helps Local WISP Provide Long Distance Wireless Connectivity in Indonesia

ADINET, a small wireless internet service provider (WISP) in Jakarta, Indonesia, needed a cost-effective way to deliver broadband to subscribers spread across a wide area. The company faced a 10-kilometer transmission gap from its ISP connection, widely dispersed customer locations, heavy wireless interference, and harsh weather, all while needing reliable remote network management. TP-Link’s Pharos Series outdoor wireless solution was selected to meet these challenges.

TP-Link implemented a point-to-point and point-to-multipoint network using Pharos Wireless Base Stations (WBS510 and WBS210), dish and sector antennas, and CPE210 units at subscriber sites, all managed through Pharos Control software. The solution delivered stable, high-performance wireless coverage, including 10+ kilometer links with throughput up to 50Mbps, and enabled ADINET to provide 30Mbps internet service to all subscribers while simplifying remote monitoring and maintenance.
