A TP-Link Case Study
Chase Grammar School, an education provider in Cannock, Staffordshire, needed to support a growing BYOD environment for teachers and students, but its outdated wireless network was creating major bottlenecks. Despite three 70Mbps fiber connections, thick campus walls and aging access points limited real-world speeds to around 20Mbps and could only support a handful of devices, disrupting access to online learning resources and boarding-student connectivity.
TP-Link conducted a site survey and recommended deploying EAP120 ceiling-mounted access points. After 15 TP-Link EAP120s were installed, the school achieved a stable 51Mbps wireless connection across campus, with easier network management through cluster control and captive portal access for secure, policy-based BYOD use.
