TP-LINK Helps Calasanz School Provide Wireless Coverage in Colombia

Colegio Calasanz Bogotá, a school in Colombia serving more than 1,290 students from preschool through high school, needed a cost-effective and easy-to-manage wireless network to support learning across its campus. The school wanted reliable Wi‑Fi coverage for its two main buildings, separate access for students and staff, and network monitoring despite limited IT resources. TP-Link was selected to help meet these requirements with its wireless networking products and management software.

TP-Link implemented a campus-wide solution using TL-SF1048 switches, EAP120 access points in classrooms, and TP-Link’s free EAP Controller software for centralized management, monitoring, captive portal access, and role-based network policies. The deployment provided stable wireless coverage for more than 1,000 users, simplified administration, and enabled rapid installation without disrupting classes. As a result, students, teachers, and staff gained dependable connectivity throughout the school, improving access to online learning resources and supporting the institution’s digital education goals.
