Insparq, a social discovery solution for online retailers, needed a way to turn social sharing into measurable sales by identifying who was sharing and which incentives would prompt more referrals. To provide that insight, Insparq integrated TowerData’s demographic enrichment service—sending captured emails via TowerData’s encrypted API to append age, gender and location data.

TowerData matched emails at over an 80% rate and returned demographic profiles that Insparq displayed in its analytics dashboard, enabling retailers to target relevant incentives (free shipping, discounts, VIP access). The TowerData-enabled segmentation tripled social sharing, increased visits per incentivized referral by 63%, converted 9.8% of visits into sales, and made referral-driven visitors four times more likely to purchase—boosting referrals, conversions and overall sales.
