Touchplan Helps Keep Electrical Contractors On Schedule

TITAN Electric, an electrical subcontractor on a 12,000 sq. ft. life‑science tenant fit‑out, faced permitting, procurement and schedule slippages plus manpower constraints that threatened progress (the crew was expected to ramp to eight people but never exceeded two). To manage these challenges, TITAN Electric used Touchplan’s construction planning platform to track issues, communicate deadlines with the general contractor, and forecast manpower needs.

Touchplan enabled TITAN Electric to maintain a two‑week look‑ahead, update manpower in real time, export Gantt snapshots for the GC, and document schedule slides and change reports. As a result, TITAN kept the project moving despite delays, avoided adding labor (staying at two on‑site instead of ramping to eight), cut coordination time to about 30 minutes a week instead of roughly 30 minutes a day, and improved communication and risk reduction across trades.
