A Touchplan Case Study
New Line Structures & Development LLC, a New York City–based construction management firm, was hired to convert a 1.2 million sq. ft. historic warehouse into a modern biophilic workplace. The adaptive-reuse project combined facade restoration, occupied-space work, demolition and new construction, creating a non‑traditional, phase-by-phase planning challenge with many subcontractors and tight coordination needs. To meet these demands, New Line engaged Touchplan and its collaborative planning platform.
Touchplan delivered a common digital scheduling environment where subcontractors and New Line teams jointly enter tasks, add constraints, track promises and report metrics such as PPCs and root‑cause delay analysis. Trades adopted the tool quickly (about a 15‑minute intro), which improved material and crew readiness, made delays visible in weekly coordination meetings, strengthened safety conversations, and kept the 1.2M sq. ft. project aligned—helping New Line stay on schedule and reduce planning risk.
