Sundt Construction used Touchplan for the Hornet Commons student housing project at California State University, Sacramento. The team needed a better way to manage a complex, detailed production schedule than their existing Excel program, which had become difficult to use and dependent on a single creator’s knowledge.

Touchplan provided a more practical planning and tracking solution for Sundt Construction’s production work on the six-building, 365,000-SF project. With Touchplan, Sundt was able to better coordinate the job and complete the residence halls in time for the start of the 2021 fall semester, delivering housing for 1,100 students and increasing the university’s student housing supply by 33%.
