Hoar Construction, a national general contractor working primarily in the Southeastern U.S., was running its mandated Last Planner System largely “longhand” in Excel, which created heavy data-entry burdens for field staff as they planned a 10-story, 360-unit multifamily project in Nashville. Seeking a digital LPS to centralize data and improve efficiency, Superintendent Andy Shonnard’s team turned to Touchplan.

Touchplan’s cloud-based platform delivered dynamic replanning and integrated weekly work planning, letting Hoar resequence work around limestone blasting and other unforeseen foundation issues without a major schedule redo. With Touchplan, updates were immediately available to all participants, the team tied weekly plans back to the CPM, maintained daily huddles, supported 100–125 people on site, and reported that they were beating many milestones while keeping the project on track for its June 2022 delivery.
