Case Study: Andres Construction Services stays on schedule and streamlines deliveries with Touchplan

Helping to Build a New Downtown Dallas Neighborhood

Andres Construction Services, an employee-owned Texas general contractor, took on the East Quarter Meletio Tower — a complex renovation of a 1920s electrical building into a 20-story mixed-use tower with 335 residential units, plus office and retail space — that required tight phasing, coordination among many subcontractors, and constrained urban deliveries. To meet these challenges they continued their partnership with Touchplan, using the Touchplan platform (including Touchplan Boards and multiple active plans) to organize phases and subcontractor meetings.

Touchplan implemented five active plans, Touchplan Boards for weekly coordination, and delivery “swim lanes” by hour, entrance, and material hoist to schedule arrivals and assign responsibility. As a result, Touchplan helped Andres Construction Services break work into manageable tasks, improve subcontractor accountability, identify issues before they became problems, streamline urban material deliveries, and stay on track for a June 2022 turnover — with 180,000 SF of office and 25,000 SF of retail already complete and ready to hand over.
