The Hutchins School finds new ways to catch up with alumni in 2020

The Hutchins School, located in Tasmania with 5,000 alumni around the world, needed a better way to engage graduates and support alumni activity during the uncertainty of 2020. Working with ToucanTech, the school created a new digital alumni community to help reconnect former students, welcome new leavers, and keep alumni informed and involved.

ToucanTech provided the Hutchins School with a branded community site and tools for targeted email sign-ups, content sharing, podcast hosting, and event management. The result was strong engagement: more than 700 alumni joined the new community, events such as a golf outing sold out weeks in advance, and members stayed updated when plans changed, helping the Hutchins digital community grow and thrive globally.
