St Joseph's Institution International captures alumni stories to drive engagement

St Joseph’s Institution International, one of seven Lasallian schools in Singapore, wanted a better way to connect alumni, supporters, friends, staff and graduates across its global community. In 2019, the school set up ToucanTech’s community platform to create a shared space where alumni could interact, support one another and stay connected with the wider SJI International community.

Using ToucanTech, St Joseph’s Institution International began publishing alumni spotlight stories and collecting submissions through the website, while also uploading digital yearbooks for past cohorts to revisit, comment on and share during reunions. The result was a richer, more engaging alumni site that helped the school showcase achievements, encourage interaction and support its advancement strategy, while saving time and resources by making it easier to gather and publish content.
