Case Study: Sheldon College engages alumni and launches reunions with ToucanTech

Sheldon College launch their new alumni platform & plan alumni reunions

Sheldon College, an independent day school in Brisbane, Australia, wanted a better way to connect its growing alumni network, share school news, and support career and community engagement. To help address this challenge, the college worked with ToucanTech to develop a dedicated alumni platform for its graduates.

ToucanTech launched the new alumni community in February 2022, giving members access to a business directory, jobs board, photo galleries, events, and school updates. The launch saw strong early traction, with over 200 alumni joining and the first email about the site achieving an open rate of more than 50%, while Sheldon College also began planning reunions and gathering alumni feedback to drive further engagement.
