Arden Anglican School supports local businesses through COVID-19

ToucanTech worked with Arden Alumni Association, part of Arden Anglican School in Sydney, to strengthen community engagement during COVID-19. The school wanted a simple way to connect alumni, parents, and local businesses while helping financially impacted businesses reach its community.

Using ToucanTech’s community site, Arden Alumni Association launched a free business directory and news area where businesses could share profiles, contact details, and products, and members could search by category. The result was strong engagement: the directory listed 11 businesses and had more than 300 views, while news stories also passed 300 views in a month, helping the school improve alumni involvement and monthly site visits.
