Case Study: Watford Grammar School for Girls boosts alumnae engagement with ToucanTech

A ToucanTech Case Study

Preview of the Watford Grammar School for Girls Case Study

88% of Watford Grammar School for Girls' 2020 alumnae join their online network

Watford Grammar School for Girls, an outstanding state school in Hertfordshire, wanted to do a better job of welcoming and connecting its recent leavers and alumnae, especially the Class of 2020 during a period when in-person community ties were disrupted. The school turned to ToucanTech and its online alumnae community platform to help promote membership and keep new alumnae engaged.

ToucanTech supported Watford Grammar School for Girls with a farewell email campaign, using a visually engaging template and personal content from teachers to encourage sign-ups. The result was strong: 123 out of 140 leavers, or 88%, registered for the site, the school’s highest sign-up rate since 2017, and engagement in the alumnae community continued to grow through posts, news updates, and class-based group activity.
